- In Progress: Learner is actively working through the course
- Pending Assessment: All activities completed, awaiting assessment
- Grade Unpublished: Assessment complete but grades not yet released
- Completed Successfully: Met all requirements and passed
- Completed Unsuccessfully: Completed all activities but didn't meet passing requirements
- Did Not Complete: Didn't finish within the required timeframe
- Cancelled Enrolment: Enrolment has been cancelled due to learner withdrawal or course cancellation
Assessment Methods
Our system supports both scored and manual assessment methods, allowing you to choose the most appropriate approach for each learning activity.
You can define point values and grade boundaries for scored assessments that automatically calculate final grades. This approach works particularly well for objective assessments where clear right and wrong answers exist.
Manual assessments allow for more nuanced evaluation through customisable rubrics and detailed feedback options. This method is ideal for subjective assessments like essays, presentations, or practical demonstrations where professional judgment is crucial.
Managing Grades
The system streamlines the grade management process while maintaining assessment integrity. When marking multiple submissions, you can use our bulk marking interface to efficiently process grades and provide feedback. The system preserves individual assessment quality while significantly reducing administrative time.
Grade publishing gives you complete control over when and how learners receive their results. You can choose between scheduled publishing, where grades are automatically released at a specified time, or manual publishing, which allows for final reviews before grades are shared with learners.
