Program and Pathway Icons

It was definitely time for an icon refresh, so we’ve updated all our default icons. We’ve also decoupled Academy icons from guroo.pro icons to help maintain some consistency across your Academy platform.

What do you need to do?

For your existing programs - nothing! All your existing icons will be migrated into Academy.

For new programs, you will see a new icon selector for any new activity. You can choose from our standard set of icons, or switch to the “Customised” tab to find your custom icons.

Email Sent Log

I know I’m not the only one who is excited about an email sent log! Search for all emails sent to any individual user via the new Email Sent Log in the Platform Reports section.

Page Sections - Display in Left Menu

Over time, we’ve seen some of our customers develop some amazing Academy programs that include lots of great content and consequently, there are some very long pages in programs!

To help with navigation and usability, you can now display your sections as individual pages in the left menu. Enable this on a page by page basis in the page settings shown below.

Login Screen

For our customers with multiple login options (username/password, single sign on, Google sign in, and/or LinkedIn sign in), all sign in options are now available in tabs instead of separate sections of the login screen.

Academy will remember each user’s preferred sign in option and default to that option when they return to the platform.

Other New Features

Some other new and updated features to keep an eye out for:

• Nudge (via email) participants to complete the Program Wrap Up. Access via the program transcript.
• Program Templates have been divided into Program Library and Program Shells. Use the Program Library for complete programs that are copied in their entirety to form a new cohort of the program with minimal content changes. Use Program Shells as an empty program with a basic layout (for example, preparation activities, program details, wrap up activities) that can be populated with the content of any program that uses a similar layout. By default, all your existing templates will be in the Program Library.
